Northborough Senior
Center Grand Opening
Sunday, March 21, 2010, was a banner
day in the history of Northborough. Despite a rather grim weather
forecast the sun stayed out and a very large crowd showed up to see a
ribbon cutting, enjoy some pomp and circumstance, hear short and sweet
speeches from Center and town luminaries and state and legislative
representatives, and partake of some fine refreshments. The real star
of the show was the magnificent new facility. Our goal here is
not to name a lot of names (though Kelly Burke, the person in the red
dress and Center Director, who encouraged our photographs, must surely
be exhausted after such a successful effort!) but to depict an
