Edward J. Deppert

Ed Deppert  has  over thirty years of  experience in the  Healthcare field. It ranges from being CIO for a major 500 bed Community Hospital  to responsibilites as U.S. Healthcare Sales Executive and U.S. Marketing Manager for Fortune 100 companies, including the Digital Equipment Corporation and Compaq. He also held major healthcare posts with Wang and Data General, and is now a senior advisor to Avnet, Inc as it develops a new HealthPath marketing program.

He brings a unique set of skills in understanding the needs of both healthcare providers, [Hospitals, HMO's, Academic Medical Centers] and the vendor community and building collaboratives between them which have resulted in significant product success.  Much of his work has reflected a long-standing interest in education and the delivery of sales training, as represented by numerous Academic Medical Center research and internship initiatives.

Ed Deppert is skilled and experienced  in the planning,design, implementation and management of Total Quality processes.  Over the last twenty years he has trained hundreds of Healthcare sales people in the Account Planning Process. Most notably he created a  Healthcare Internship program that brings both providers and vendors together in  unique and  powerful forums.

Ed has worked with Ron Goodenow on National Healthcare Initiative and other projects in healthcare and higher education for 16 years. They are now successful driving an NHI derived 'healthcare university' for Avnet.
